
On Wednesday, 22nd March, an attack allegedly perpetrated by the 52-year-old suspect, Khalid Masood, left four people dead and 40 injured outside the houses of Parliament, London, England.
Reports reveal that at Approximately 2:40 pm Khalid, born Adrian Russell Ajao, drove a gray Hyundai was driven into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge. The attacker proceeded to get out fo the crashed vehicle and stab a police officer within the grounds of the Houses of Parliament.
A group named Muslims United For London led a campaign to raise money for the loved ones of the victim's who had died during the tragic event. Muddassar Ahmed, who witnessed the attacks from his office window also launched the donation page.
Only an hour had passed since they launched the donation page and they received over £3,000. Since the page has been launched they have successfully managed to garner £21,211 of their £30,000 goal from just 910 supporters.

Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, released a statement regarding the attacks in London, "London is the greatest city in the world, and we stand together in the face of those who seek to harm us and our way of life. We always have and we always will. Londoners will never be cowed by terrorism. There will be additional armed and unarmed police officers on our streets from tonight in order to keep Londoners, and all those visiting our city, safe"
