In the early hours of Saturday, 24th September, an elderly man believed to be in his 70's was attacked outside of UK Albanian Muslim Community and Cultural Centre, located on Rupert Road, in Kilburn, London, England.
The man was found laying near the cultural center, which is used as a mosque. Ambulances arrived at approximately 3.40am, paramedics took the man to a north London hospital.
Metropolitan police have issued a statement, where they have noted, that it is not known if the attack had anything to do with the mosque nearby.
The elderly man's wounds are very serious but fortunately, he is in stable condition.
The Metropolitan police are currently searching for the assailant, whom will be charged with grievous bodily harm when found.
