An uplifting image has begun to circulate social media of a man showing his solidarity with Muslims outside of Canberra Mosque in Yarralumla, Canberra, Australia.

The man held up the sign during Jummah prayers, on Friday, 16th September. The image of a man holding up a sign which reads, "Fellow Australians I apologize for the religious bigots in our society, gov't and media", was an attempt to strengthen relations and break barriers between communities.

This comes after infamous far-right politician Pauline Hanson affirmed her bigotry by announcing that Australia is being "Swamped by Muslims".

Users of Social media have shown their appreciation to the fedora-wearing, unnamed man for his small act of kindness, which has made a large impact.
