Shooting At Texas Mosque

The shooting occurred at the early hours of Thursday morning, 7th July, approximately at 4.30am. The target of the shooting was the Islamic Community of Bryan-College Station (ICBCS), located in College Station, Texas.

The official statement made by ICBCS, stated that the gunfire damaged the front entrance of the mosque as well as left several bullet holes close to the front doors. Fortunately, no one was injured during the shooting as there was no one in attendance inside of the mosque at the time.

Members of the local community have come out to show support in this devastating time, such as Nimrah Riaz who has emphasized how the attack affected her personally.

ICBCS has not let the attack distress the community as they have come together to show solidarity as various members of the Islamic Center came together to hold speeches regarding the shooting.

The local Sheriff's office, College Station Police Department have combined efforts with the FBI to find the suspect/suspects of the shooting. They are asking the public to come forth if they have any further information regarding the matter.
