
An unprovoked anti-Muslim incident occurred on Monday 20th June, in Superking Supermarket located in London, Ontario, Canada, where a hijab-wearing woman was assaulted by an angry woman.
The unnamed victim was shopping with her four-month-old son when a lady wearing a red Canadian shirt walked up to her screaming and angrily pointing her finger at her.
The unidentified assailant spat on the Muslim lady before punching her, giving her several blows to the face. Police reported that the angry woman pulled on the lady's hijab before pulling her hair.

The Muslim women was left shocked by the incident but only suffered minor physical injuries.
The police are currently investigating the unprovoked assault and are asking the public to help identify the suspect. The assaulter has been described as five-foot-five, 30 to 40 years old, approximately 150 pounds and long black hair pulled back in a ponytail.
